Keynotes
Talks that wake a room up without frightening it, and send women out curious and capable rather than late.
The mission is simple. Nobody gets left behind. Not on the skills, not on the rooms, not on the rules being written right now. Women stay visible.
This is brand-led AI for the capable people the industry keeps missing, women visible in the work, not a narrow product with a bow on it. Get Switched ON, so you can switch off.
Look at who gets handed the microphone on AI, and a pattern shows up fast. The rooms writing the rules are not the rooms full of the women who will live with them.
That is an industry problem, not a you problem. The technology is barely out of the box, the rules are being written this year, and feeling late is not evidence that you are late. It is evidence that the conversation has been built, deliberately or not, to make capable people feel small.
Switched ON exists to change who is in the room. Not by dumbing anything down, but by translating what is changing for the people it is changing fastest around.
Talks that wake a room up without frightening it, and send women out curious and capable rather than late.
Hands-on, non-technical rooms where teams stop guessing and start building, in language that assumes intelligence.
The free experiment that started it all: learn AI out loud, one real task at a time, alongside other people doing the same.
Switched ON, free, telling you what just changed and what to do about it in about ten minutes.
Switched ON began as a free 30-day AI challenge in 2026. It grew from 120 people to more than 800 by word of mouth alone, most of them arriving worried and leaving capable.
At Google, Nishma led Digital Garage, free digital skills training for many thousands across the UK. 70% of the people who took up that free training were women. It was never targeted that way.
Digital Garage reached over a million people, which is what happens when you make a way in and let word of mouth do the rest.

No. It is not too late, and you are not behind. The people who feel late are usually closer to the front than they think, because the ground is so new that almost nobody has a real head start, and starting now puts you ahead of most.
No. This is brand-led AI for the capable people the industry keeps missing, and women are often the ones being missed, so they are who the work centres. The keynotes, Sessions and the weekly email are open to teams and mixed rooms too; the mission is that nobody gets left behind.
Nishma Patel-Robb is a British broadcaster, brand strategist and the founder of Switched ON, a media company that helps people make sense of what is changing, starting with AI. She spent ten years at Google, latterly as a senior director working on brand and reputation, and worked on the UK launch of the product that became Gemini.
Start with one real task you already do, run once with AI as a sparring partner rather than an author, then again tomorrow. The free weekly Switched ON email and the 30-day challenge are the easiest way in, and you can go deeper from there.
The weekly email is free and lands what just changed, what it means and what to do about it. Read it at substack.nishma.co, or bring Nishma in to speak.
